Hi fellow builders. My name is Brad and I live in NW Phoenix. I found out about this board on MCM forum. Love vintage drag racing and also like to build other interests too. Looking forward to perusing around here.

WOW! What a great response. Nice to see all you people here. Some know me, some don't, sooooo... my name is Al, many of you know me as Tubbs, big drag racing fan, bigger pro street fan, am a fan of old pro stock, modified production and old funny cars that you can actually see what kind of car you are looking at. , that is a slam on the weird looking things running today. Oh yea, don't look for too many build posts from me, I think the last model I finished, we celebrated it by landing on the moon. I am also an admin here, so if you all have any questions, feel free to ask and I will do what I can to get you an answer.

Nice to see it coming back and thanks for not deleting my account. Bruce or Dogfish7 here, from Hoodsport, WA. Still an active modeler, but haven't done a Quarter Miler in awhile. Looking forward to seeing some of your builds.

Welcome back, Bruce. Maybe the revival of the forum will nudge you into doing another drag car!

Thanks, Steve and thanks for taking hold of the reins. I have an unfinished Gasser or two, which I may be able to work into my busy workbench.

Hi from NC. I'm not new here but had lost track of this forum until receiving the email about it being revitalized. Thanks for that. I have been building for most of the last 50 years and build a little bit of everything although older sportsman class drag cars are probably my favorite. I retired last year and spent most of the year building my first dedicated model room. So I have no excuse anymore for not finishing a few. I spent some time the last couple of days trying to catch up on some of what I have missed and I see that there are still a lot of great modelers here.

Welcome back. I hate to admit I have a room dedicated to my modeling in this place we bought last year, but right now it's so cluttered I can't find a bare spot to work on. Hopefully you won't have that problem and we can see some of your builds sometime soon.

Welcome back everyone! I too have a dedicated room for my hobbies plus a workshop and a side room off of it that I am turning into a painting room. I still need to install some sort of venting system so I don't pass out from paint fumes plus my hobby room like some others is a total mess right now.

Been here a long time, but with the new blood and old familiar names returning, I'm going to reintroduce my self.Lived on Long Island N.Y. until I retired now we live in Maine. Life long modeler and racer. Ran a 55 Chevy Gasser, a VW Gasser back in the day. 1971 Started to go pro and ran 3 new Mopars, 2 in Super Stock and on in Stock, later went into a Alcohol funny car in 1972. Ran a drag bike in the early 80's and a crap load of street racing from NYC to Deer Park Avenue on Long Island. I build most any drag car pre 1990 and particularly favor the small home town hero's I ran with. Most are odd engines or over kill on power. Paul
