wayne....I have 1 of rons motors also....show us how yall built the roll cage?? never get the bends where I want them...thanks superstock There are a few different ways to build a scratchbuilt roll cage. I always use solid rod stock as it does bend easier with less chance of snapping it in two when you are bending. One way to do these bends is to complete your measurements, draw out the pattern on a small block of wood, tap in some brad nails at all of the bends and then lightly heat the tubing at the bend points. This takes a little finess to ensure that you don't melt the tubing before achieving the proper bend. Most of what I do is through eyeball engineering. I make my bends with my hands slowly so I don't snap the tubing in half and keep working it until I have the preferred shape.

Cool as always Thanks for the details. I'm actually going to use this build up as a lesson in how the newer super stockers are built. I know a lot more about the old ones than I do the new ones. So this is going to help me immensely.

Stock dash. From what I've seen most of these cars run a stock appearing dash.
