Good buy! I know books can get REALLY expensive even on Amazon but in my experience, if you see a new book out there that fits your needs (reference material) and you can afford it, buy it! For example, there was a book out there on Trans Am racing that I thought about buying and didn`t. The next time I looked it up several months later, it was out of print and USED copies were going for over $120.00 in FAIR condition! So sometimes it pays to snap it up quick like!

You're 100% correct on that. There are a couple of books I'd like to have right now, but I'm finding just what you described - used, in fair condition, and WOW prices. It can be tough to justify $100 reference books for a modeling hobby. With the Junior Stock and Super Stock books I have I've got a lot of reference material for those type builds. I need some additional 60s MOPAR reference and have a couple books spotted for that. Then I'm going to want some gasser reference material. I'll eventually find what I need. Some of the guys have suggested some great books for me.

I was just thinking. I could build models from now until I kick the bucket and never build anything except Junior Stock, Super Stock, Gassers, F/X cars, and a few factory stock muscle cars. And I'd be as happy as a pig in cool mud. Need this also to round out you collection. I'll post the pic when I get the book out. My 55 Chevy is in the gasser book, a 1962 photo.
