Looking forward to watching you build this one. I feel like it's going to be a super build - which parts of this have the SNJ powder on them? I hate to admit it but I've had a kit of this stuff for 25 years and have been too lazy to even try it out. I really like the variations in the castings it really brings them out.

The SNJ powder in on the upper and lower block casting. Gave it the raw cast look I wanted.

Got my chassis material from Plastruct today. The chassis will be in the works tomorrow.

Not knowing anything about the Bandag Defiance , I did a google on it.
Very cool and the work you have done so far is excellent.

Paul, you just make my head spin when you do all that special, scratch built, customizing. It just boggles my mind. Looking great and seems to be moving along fairly quickly.
Yeah, all you model building gurus just impress the He** out of me with your attention to detail and custom building. It's great. I sure do enjoy following along.

Aw Right Paul I just know this is going to be something else. To be honest this is totally out of my wheel house of building. I've never built a truck over 1 ton in my life. But I love the concept, the scratch building and modifying. I've already learned something. I had to look up Tichy Train Bolts. I had used them before just not that brand. I found some small eye bolts that I've been looking for a while in that line.
