This is a fantastic tutorial. What type of glue is the best to use to reattach the rear end supports? I see this as being a weak area.

Super glue is what I use. In all of the different models that I have done this adjustment to I have never had one of the rear end attachment points fall back off after using super glue.

Really good stuff here 1320wayne. I have not built one of these as yet but when I do I won't be fumbling around in the dark so thank you. Very valuable content like this makes for a worthwhile Forum.

Very valuable content like this makes for a worthwhile Forum. And the reason I stopped deleting old posts on this board. If you didn't notice, the original post was from Aug 26, 2008. This is why it took so long to finally get this board cleaned up. As I read through the threads I kept finding some really great tips and techniques from way back. The problem was the good threads were scattered in and around other threads that were either useless info or had lots of photos in them that had been hosted on Photobucket. As it stands right now I intend to leave the board as is. If you guys happen to run onto a thread that really needs deleting, please let me know. Thanks.

This is a good tutorial that I wish I had known about back in the days when I was building these funny cars. I will definitely be referring to it when I finally get to building my Satellite funnies. Thanks for keeping this one Steve!
