Nice and wow! 7's with a six, amazing.
I was just watching a YouTube video on drag racing mostly FC's and Rails all running in the low 3 seconds which I thought was amazing then I found out they were running the 1/8th mile. God, I can spit that far almost. Why do they even waste their time on 1/8th mile racing? Maybe it's because when I was racing 1/4 mile was what drag racing was.

My 55 was running D/gas in 1962 at Islip 1/8 mile, I bought it from pop in 1969 and ran he 1/4. Thats what drags were not 1/8 or the poopy 1000 feet that they now run for safety. Although my 55 is now set up for stop light to stop light with 5:56 and 2nd / high. Fun to pee all over a Camaro of Stang with a 300 Ford 6. Had a guy in his 30's beat me and brag to a friend, I popped my hood and asked how it felt to beat a 6 cylinder FUN! 1320 or nothin!
