Nice job on this build. I had a '66 Nova 6 banger that I use to race in 'O' optional back at Thompson Drag Raceway. It was by no means a quick or even fast car but I was able to bring home a few trophies with it.

Oh yeah, mighty fine looking stocker. As you, never was really turned on by the rails, but did love the gassers, modified productions, and stockers. They were something I could identify with.

Yep. Reminds me of a whole lot of cars I watched race. And you're right, these cars were a lot more fun to watch. Depending on where we were, I might even have lined up against one like this. A lot of places we raced only held E.T. racing so it was possible to pair off with a whole lot of different kinds of cars. I think the track at Terre Haute, IN runs only bracket races.

awesome build. that is the essence of drag racing right there. bumpy old Thompson Thumb, remember it well. cant forget 42 either. although I must admit, the racing I took in a lot was street racing in the belly of Cleveland, Ohio. some real bad a$$ cars down there in the day.

Beautiful Nova G. I like the color and the overall looks of the car. Dan
