Very nice build sir ..... I believe that's one of the nicest Thunderbolts I've ever seen.

I have two of those kits in my stash. Both will be built fairly plain and clean like yours. Watching these cars run against the MOPAR lightweights was always a fun time. All the Ford fans and MOPAR fans would be betting who would win, even if the bet was only for plain, simple pride.
One of the reasons I'm not going Hell bent for leather to build a Thunderbolt or early MOPAR is that I'm hoping to eventually have a real nice collection of early 60s drag cars. I'm wanting to get some more practice in building before I tackle one of them. There will be Thunderbolts, '63 and '64 lightweight MOPARs, a couple of 409 Chevys and probably a couple of 421 Pontiac Super Dutys. And all will be built very similar to this build here. I'm leaning towards no class designations on the car with a few decals just like this car. Might throw in some chrome reverse wheels and a few will even have some early mags.
Thanks for posting this one up, glooz! Gives me something to shoot for!
