Steve, If you liked the Thunderbolt, you might like this one. A stripped down, lightweight, Bill Knafel Rompin' Redskin. No heater, radio, carpet, undercoat or anything. McKellar Special #10 Cam, A tach, steering wheel and a handle for the 4 speed. Talk about an early 60's North Woodward Avenue Special. Sir, I likes them Stockers. Lets see Japan make a better one of those. This was built right out of the box from the first AMT release. Those were the days---Knafel, Royal, Chesrown, Yenko, Baldwin-Motion. Look at what all those young kids with their ricers with fart can exhausts are missing out on. I just noticed in the photos I lost one of the front fender spears. Gotta find that.

Very nice, glooz! This is just EXACTLY what I'll be trying to achieve with my little collection of early 60s cars. I grew up in a very rural setting and we had 3 different places "out in the country" where we'd all gather to race. This car looks like one that would show up at one of those Saturday races.
Really appreciate you posting up these cars!

59 Dan, this is not a replica of any one car, its just a phantom. I just thought the Knafel name on the side looked cool.
