70.5 Pro Mod Camaro

Started work on a new project within the past week. It's been a planned build for some time but I had to wait until I was able to finish the master work on my 70.5 Camaro body that I've added to my resin line.
So, here is the beginning. Using the master as the base for the build along with a TDR Innovations 3d printed chassis available for their 68 Camaro body. The chassis almost fits perfectly and will only need minor adjustments to make it work. 
A lot of the engine detail and assorted accessories will be done using resin pieces that I created. I am also using some 3d printed parts as well. 

The first couple of pics show the body in yellow. That was done in order to have a smooth surface on the body for casting. As you scroll through you will see what the paint scheme morphs into.

Nice work on everything although I don't know the rules but Pro mods might as well be Funny Cars the way things look. I really like the paint job and decals.

Looks outstanding. Always loved your work. I do have a question on using the 3D printed chassis, i know you are very good at doing scratch chassis, what made you do the printed chassis? It does look awesome. Is it rough? I have not dealt with printed parts yet. I see you have wheels too... nice looking stuff.

I have a 69 Camaro build also in the works and I purchased this 68 chassis by mistake. Since I had it I decided to use it since it almost fits perfectly. , it is rough and will still need some work to get a nicer finish out of it. The wheels are also printed in a smoother material so they are easier to work with.

Finally got back to work on this one along with all of the other projects that I'm working on. Just bouncing from one build to the next based on what's needed at the time. This one has been sitting in the background for the past few months so I finally went ahead and got the clear coat added. This is my first time using PPG Diamond Coat clear. Happy with the results so far.

What resin line do you have? Are the products for sale? Paul

Yeah, some older comments can now be deceiving. I was casting and selling for a number of years but about 3 or 4 months ago I had to shut everything down due to health concerns and the resin casting issues with causing those health concerns.

wow, not good. since you quit, are you feeling better?
