This is from a couple of years ago. Background- I built this car for a build off. It's a "What If" version of a car I used to drive- a black and white '72 Demon. It was the most fun Mopar that I've owned. I had originally intended to mate the resin '72 body, hood and grille to the '71 Duster chassis and interior. After some thought, I abandoned the idea to make something a little more wild. Details- I used the '70 Pro Street Super Bee chassis and modified the front frame section to fit the Demon wheel base and added new torsion bars from metal tubing. I sent the resin grille out to be chromed and modified the stock hood to a have a large Outlaw-style scoop. I added hood pins and the paint is a metallic blue. I put on stock side stripes and Dodge emblems from Keith Marks, added BMF, the Go Wing spoiler from the '71 Duster, and a vinyl top made from masking tape and paint. I also made a Demon license plate for the front, and "Diablo" plate for the rear. The dash is from a '75 Dart kit, which is accurate for a '72 Demon. The roll bar is from a Dick Landy '68 Charger, and the seats are from the '70 Pro Street Super Bee kit. Sound deadener was simulated by sprayer Faux Fabric. The Hemi came from my parts box. I added resin 4bbl carbs, fuel lines, throttle linkage, return spring, and wiring from the alternator to the firewall bulkhead. I hope people enjoy it. It was a fun build.

That's some serious kit bashing! Very smooth and clean build. 2 thumbs up, for sure.

Thanks Sure- The actual pins are ones I bought at Michael's or Walmart for sewing- the kind you'd poke thread through the eye of the needle. Just drilled the radiator core and glued them in. The discs on the hood are really tiny washers that I bought many years ago.

Cool I thought so but I really liked the way they looked like you had rounded the tops of them off. Very realistic
