It's fantastic to see this forum get a new makeover. As a long time enthusiast of early drag racing, this site is right in my interest wheelhouse. I've got some projects I'd like to share, and some questions for the more experienced modelers out there. I have just moved from northern Wisconsin to Boise Idaho, so my "hobby room" is still under construction. I'm still plugging away on my "Souza Bros. and Dad" Mustang. Attachments:

Welcome Styrenesurfer - You're in the right spot. This place has a bunch of good people who also happen to be very good modelers and there is always room for another one. you've already got my attention with that Mustang so just jump right in.

Thanx Allen... This build has gone on for over a year, so now I have just got to take some liberties to get it done. There IS documentation of this car out there, but.... every piece of the puzzle was constantly changing. This car was a work in progress, so of all the info I have found online and elsewhere (from an f/x type car to an early long nose funny car) makes it hard to decipher. Have chosen to build the earliest example and not get too worried about what I will never know about this cool drag racer from 1960's

Yea unless we were personally involved with it or lucky enough to know those who were I'm afraid we have to do that a lot of the time. It is a lot of fun trying to figure it out sometimes though. Kind of like a treasure hunt. If I find anything in my references I'll let you know.
