Another dandy build, Paul. The fully enclosed type dragsters always seemed a little odd to me. I know the reasoning for the design was to cut wind drag to a minimum, but not too sure how effective it was. Would you have any idea about how many different cars like this actually existed? I just kind of wonder about that.

Carl Casper belonged in a mental institution LOL .......... some of his designs were bizarre to say the least ........ I think you did a beautiful job recreating a very iconic race car ..... outstanding work!

Wow! 50 to 60? I wouldn't have thought it was anywhere near that many. Looking at the cars on that link brought back memories of cars I had forgotten about. Thanks for that link!

I had been holding back on commenting on this build. I was kind of overwhelmed by all the colors (was I having a flash-back?!) and the wheel-pants and all of that stuff. It is growing on me pretty fast now and I think it's pretty cool. Your work on it is exemplary, that was never the issue. who knows, I might even build one of these wild things one day!
