So I guess you knew Dennis Voduris and Bob Barry quite well? We actually were neighbors when he rented a house and shop on West Main Street in Oyster Bay from 1971 to 1975 . I was part of the crew and when Bobby got a better offer for his own car, I ran the car a few times until it was sold in 1975 Scared the crap out of me.

When you talk to Bobby, ask him to tell you about testing the car on Larabee Ave on a Saturday afternoon. Paul

Charger Funnycar , Larabee Ave is a 1/4 mile long residential street in Oyster Bay. The car was "road tested" through the nice quiet neighbor hood on a Saturday afternoon. I ran the car 3 times, first 2 to get my AHRA license, once in anger. At speed the roof and windshield would distort and close down on the cage taking away what little vision you had. I'll jump in here now and speak for myself AND Tubbs probably. Old drag racing, muscle car, or street racing stories are just about as good as it gets. I love to swap stories about things that happened "back in the day" that include some hot car being involved. What's not to like about that?
