I can only imagine that Bug having quite a bite!!! Very cool Beetle and one of the better builds of one I've seen. Well done sir!

that's just so wrong that it's right. I never could figure out how those things ran so fast. Very nice job on it. I love the color. You've got those basecoats down to make those finish coats POP !!

Very cool build, indeed. I saw more than just a couple Bugs run back in the day. Some were fast, then some were downright scary fast.
Great job on detailing. Love those wheels. I noticed the trunk, or hood, or whatever, is open at the top. I just did an image search and found 3 real 1:1 Bug Gassers that also had the lid open at the top. What is the purpose of that? Is it for cooling or is that the only way to get that motor in there? I'm curious.

If you take a car that weighs about 1600 lbs., take a lot of weight out and replace a lot with fiberglass parts, get it down to 800 lbs., then install a 500 hp. engine like the turbo drag cars run, and you're down into the 8-9 second bracket.
