Oh yea I really like this one. Very clean build up of one of my favorite body styles. I haven't gotten to one of these yet. Were there any major problems with the build up?

The only iffy thing for me was some of the odd engine assembly parts. They now do a hot rod version of the Sprint. I did the convertible as a Street Freak and the Ranchero is in the planning phase.

I have to agree with Allen. Just a really clean build. Super build!
Not trying to hijack your thread, but could you give me your opinion of the Trumpeter kits in general? I've run across some while browsing eBay and steered clear of them because I don't know a thing about them. I've seem the Falcon, Falcon Sprint, Ranchero, Bonneville, and Nova SS. Yeah, I've seen the convertibles too. I'm just not a rag top fan.

Built both Novas, both Bonnies, 2 out of 4 Falcons, the Monte Carlo and the Fire Truck. they are all good kits IMO. Some ways better than Revell, AMT and MPC and in some ways not as good. Worth the cost in my opinion. The 8 lugs on the Bonnies are shallow but I did a Nascar out of the hardtop and the convert from when NASCAR raced converts. Both Novas I built stock, the Monte is Pro Street and the Fire Truck is Engine 10 from 9/11. The Bonnievilles got a bad rap because the "experts" compared the body to the 1960 SMP Annual which they felt was perfect. The 1978 Monte Carlo was dumped on because it wasn't an SS option. the Novas got bad mouthed because they are both 6 cylinder, Power Glide cars and not V8 SS versions. I'll take every one I can get! quartermilers.proboards.com/thread/4313/back-half-monte-carlo

Thanks, Paul. I'll not overlook those kits now. The Falcon Sprint kit has my attention.
