not much, it was driven by Frank Boggess. I did a search but could not find much. it looks like it is a combo of a 64 Dodge back half with a 65 front half. I will see what I can come up with. nice job on that body. Attachments:

Got a 3/4 view 8x10 photo coming from E Bay (to small in the ad to copy) The nose is a stock 64 the body chrome in not on it, changes the entire look. I'll post up a few pics with the front wheel openings moved and the body ready to prime.

very cool. I love these AWB cars. I see a lot of these builds by people and not a lot move the front wheels... why?! anyways yours is looking killer and I am watching. and you are correct, if that is a 64 front end, that molding sure makes a difference.

It's hard to find pics. of a lot of these cars. The West Virginia Hemi car actually has two thin rally style stripes that run the length of the hood, roof and trunk.

I will see what I can come up with. nice job on that body. Got my photo and more information today, it is now on hold until I can find an AMT 65 Dodge Coronet to steal the nose off of. Chrysler Dodge and Plymouth FX cars engaged in fierce battles with Mercury’s big-dollar Comets and a handful of Mustangs before the end of 1964. 1965 would be a whole different story with new rules and mid season ban on aluminum body panels. The Ramchargers like other teams sold their 1964 cars to make room for their 1965 altered wheelbase cars. The Ramchargers Dodge went to Eddie and Mark Smith, who had the Alexander Brothers custom shop near Detroit convert it to the max altered wheel base and add a 1965 Dodge nose and doors to replace the alloy panels on the 1964 shell. It is seen here in a newspaper story circa 1967, doing the job with driver Frank Boggess. Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki
