I was given this car with the stipulation that I had to "Fix It". Well, Ive started work on it and Here are some pics of the start. I wanted to build it as stock, but, there is no way I can do that since the inner fins have been removed and removed badly. The hood is cracked and a hole was started to be cut out for something, I don't know what. The body is in real bad shape, but I think repairable. I have done a lot of work to it so far and I will post more pics. This will have to be a custom and I have it in color now. So, stay tuned for more of the work done.

That hole in the hood is for the big blower and bug catcher. We all know how popular Bonneville gassers are. Right? LOL!!

I got this car done last night. It's not perfect, but I'm satisfied with how she turned out. The interior, chassis and floor pan are from the AMT 62 Catalina. The windshield and frame are from the 59 Impala by Revell. The back up lights are from the Revell 60 Impala. The skirts are from the parts box. I installed Blue dots on the tail lights. All Chrome is the Molotov ink either sprayed or used with the pen. The paint is all Lacquer. I removed the trim that was left on the car because it was a mess. This whole car was a complete mess and I'm happy with how it turned out. Thanks fer lookin.

Thanks Tubbs. Those skirts are hiding some of the worst spots on the car, otherwise, they wouldn't be there. I'm not much of a fan of them myself. Plus, they are upside down, on purpose though.

Dan excellent!! true modeling at the highest degree. they are not ugly by any meand, I like that you flipped them around. nice idea. did not notice that.

Thanks guys. Tubbs, I have no clue where the skirts came from other than the parts box. I don't know which kit these were in back in the day. They were in with other parts that I got from someone and one of them was broken at the back end. I cut a tube in half and formed it to fit. Ya can't see the work from the outside, only from the inside. I try and save parts also if I can. Dan
