This is a build I started years ago and work on it when I can. It's made from several different Revell kits and aftermarket add-ons. The body is a resin Jimmy Flintstone re-pop that have been on eBay for years. I'll post some photos from when I started to now.
Here is the body on an already built chassis that I had from a funny car junkyard I bought on eBay.
As can be seen it just didn't look right. I had made the side panels for the rear from scrap and another kit. So, I decided to build a chassis and engine that fit the body.

Wicked Kool!! Big fan of all things Stude! Paul Thanks Paul! Glad to know you're a Stude fan! Steve I own a pair of 1962 Gran Torismo's, one R1 Auto and the other is an R2 4 speed, I made into an R3. I bought both and a barn full of NOS parts at a garage sale in the late 1990's. Turned out the gentleman had owned a Studebaker dealership and brought it all home. WE had a 1957 Golden Hawk but it was stolen at a show! I'll snap a few photos. |

Still a little is better than none at all. Twin plug Hemi is cool and I like your adding a driver.

Thanks Paul. The driver figure comes in the Funny Car "Launch Kit" produced by Aardvark Models. The kit includes the driver figure, fully wrinkled drag slicks, and wide-open throttle blower hat, all done in yellow resin.
