I got this nearly completed "Blue Max" EXP model on eBay four days ago. There were a couple of broken parts that had to be fixed, and I did some detail painting to bring it out more as there is only Chrome and Blue plastic that makes up the majority of this kit. The windows are tinted. There is no interior sheet metal and the tires are plastic but it looks good for the scale. Whomever started this model never finished the decals on the right side of the body so it's a little bare looking. Here's a few pics to look at...
Thanks for looking.

1/32 Cool! That is the only one I have ever seen built. I like it. Paul

1/32 Cool! That is the only one I have ever seen built. I like it. Paul Really?! I actually had several of the 1/32nd scale F/C's back when they came out in the early 80's. This is the first time having the "Blue Max" Ford EXP. These don't show up on eBay too often so they usually go for a high price, usually around $40.00+. Another reason not many show up is they are "Snap-Tite" models and not many builders think a "Snap-Tite" model looks believable.

Either I didn't pay attention to them or saw them and it didn't click. Snap is okay, I've build a few snap kits that looked better than glue ones. The EXP with a small bit of detailing would be excellent. Paul

Nice Stevie. I did one of those a few years back. There pretty simple but with a little extra attention build up into a nice model. I added styrene to lower the body sides.

Thanks Wayne, thanks Steve. The 1/32nd scale cars do get overlooked because they are made for beginners and children, but they do build up nicely if one takes their time with them.

Paul, here's a list of F/C's that Monogram put out in the 70's, 80's, and 90's:
1970's: "Earthquake" Chevy Vega, "Fiend" Dodge Charger, "GRRemlin" AMC Gremlin, "Whip Lash" Chevy Camaro, "RRRip OFF" Plymouth Duster, "Stampede" Ford Mustang II. These all share the same type of chassis and I do believe they were all designed by Tom Daniel.
1980's: Al Sengrini's Faberge' "Super Brut" Dodge Omni, Don Prudhomme's "Pepsi Challenger" Pontiac Trans Am, Kenny Bernstein's "Budweiser King" Mercury LN7, Raymond Beadle's "Blue Max" Ford EXP.
1990's: John Force's "Castrol" Oldsmobile, Ed McCulloch's "Otter Pops" Oldsmobile.
Hope that helps. You can also do a search of Monogram 1:32 scale Models.

Thanks mustang1989. Much of this model was already completed when I purchased it from eBay. As I mentioned, all the decals on the left side of the body, front and rear, were already applied. I did do some detail painting on the engine, headers, drivers compartment. I had to fix the pivot bar the chassis attaches to the body as it was broken. Other than that it's pretty much as it was when I received it.

Yeah, I still have the Prudhomme and Bernstein kits to build one day. I never picked up the Al Segrini one but maybe one day I'll find one for a reasonable price.
