So, I have had some health issues that knocked me down for a while. During that time my visions sucked and my hands weren't real steady. So I changed my model building area into a computer and gaming area. But now the visions is back and I have most of the feeling in my hands back and they are much more steady. With all the changes I had to move my building area, which has worked out much better. The best news is I am back to building and enjoying our hobby. This was my old work space. And this is what that space looks like now. Hahaha, yeah I didn't let being down on health stop me from buying kits. And my building area now.

The Gold Dart on the desk is one of a few projects I have going on at the moment. That one will be built straight out of the box just as a warm-up. There are a '69 Charger Day 2 car and a '67 Coronet Day 2 sleeper also in the works. Along with those kits i also have 7 Hemi Super Stock projects that I am starting. I have started my first two and have ordered the correct dash, door panels, and seats from Harts Parts. hartspartsresin.com/product/revell-68-dodge-dart-hemi-interior-conversion/plus I have started trying to convert the kit door panels because I also found a sorce for just the A-100 seats. I have more scribing to do on the panel and more sanding but I was surprised at how well this is going. Well for now that is my update. I hope you all will get back into building cars along with me. Oh the car I am doing the door panels for will be a day one car, as delivered by Hurst!

Glad to have you back. It's been rather quiet here of late. Look forward to seeing your builds progress.

Glad things worked out!! Where do you get the A100 seats? I need one for my Hemi Dart but could use at least 4 sets. Paul

Oh and thanks for the welcome back guys. Now get to work sticking things that go fast together! We need to revive our site. Also if you look at the pieces from Harts Parts you may notice that the door panels have been stripped and the dash is both Radio and Heater Delete. Now I just need to find someone who is casting the Hurst Dual-Gate shifters because those seem to have been in all the cars that came with 727s.

Really glad you're back bud and really glad to hear that your health is coming back up. I've been kind of scarce around these parts as well so I need to get my ars back in here and get to building with you and the rest of the gang. Looking forward to seeing that Dart build action.

Here are a couple of mock-up shots of the first two Super Stock Dart projects. The one with the Mags will be the Go Hummer and the one on the steelies is going to be the as delivered car.

I like them! The AMT 1969 Hurst Olds come with a Hurst Dual Gate his n hers shifter set up if you see one cheap. Also I believe Detail Master does a Hurst Shifter PE set but don't know if the Dual Gate is in it. It is pretty easy to make, I did one for my Landy Hemi Dart.

Good to know and thanks, Paul. I wish I could find someone who does them in resin, I am not quite up to that sort of scratch building yet. Both of the Landy Darts are on the drawing board along with the Charger and possibly the Coronet. Those Four would be fun to display with the haulers too, but now I am getting carried away again. LOL

Taking a short break on these two to do some work on the Day 2 '69 Charger and the '67 Coronet. I will post some progress on those two shortly.

Okay so I have finally gotten somewhat organized and have a list of planed projects for my planed Super Stock Hemi Darts and a few others at the end. All of these will be as they were in the earliest pictures I can find. Ideally as they were first raced or in the case of the as delivered cars as they first appeared leaving Hurst. In current planned building order, many will overlap though.
Build Classification Description Kit in Decals Order Hand in Hand
1st SS/B As Delivered by Hurst Y N/A
2nd SS/BA Go Hummer Y Y x2
3rd SS/B California Flash Y Y
4th SS/BA Drag-On Lady Y Y
5th SS/B Larry Griffith Y Y
6th SS/BA Hustlin' Hemi Y Y *(Note Front Side Marker Lights)
7th SS/B Red Light Bandit N Y
8th SS/BA Good Guys N N (Next Month)
9th SS/BA Demented Dart N N (Next Month)
10th SS/BA Lenox Dodge N N (Next Month)
11th SS/BA As Delivered by Hurst N N/A
12th SS/EA Landy's Dart GTS Y X2 Included in kit
13th SS/E(?) Landy's '68 Charger Y Included in kit
14th SS/BA Landy's Hemi Dart N Will have to find or create these myself
15th SS/B Landy's Hemi Dart N Will have to find or create these myself also
Of course all of this is subject to change, but these are all the kits that I have hopes of building over the next several months (YEARS!)

OH MY GOD! This may never end! I was looking for info on Landy's '68 Charger and found more cars of his I would love to build. Did you know he ran a '69 Daytona Charger? That was news to me. Then I find info on his '70 Charger! Damn it, and that's just the Landy cars. Oh, and I have found a decent resin '68 Coronet too, so there will be at least one more car to build and and and ... Why do I have fists full of my own hair and why is my scalp stinging and ... awe hell I should be happy, I suppose. I mean at least I will never run out of dream projects to build.
But lord help my sanity!
