Do a google search dry sump oil system. Found tons of suff easily. Lots of diagrams photo etc. If you find a sustem you like for the engine search that manufacturer pans are very different in there configuration engine/chassis/application.

i realize it's probably too late but, do you still need drysump oil pan pics and or dimensions. i'd be happy to take some shots and measurements of the ones i have. you have your choice moroso or hamburger.

first off, WELCOME! this is a great site, tons of knowledgeable people and tons of great builders here. your work is something special and i am sure you will fit right in here.
now, it's never too late, my friend. i would appreciate any and all help on this subject. the application is on a stalled project, a 440 wedge motor that i am putting into a dart, (1/25 scale of course, cant afford that stuff for my 1:1 car). i scratchbuilt the frame and didn't quite measure correctly and the pan hits the ground. so if i go with a dry sump (thinner pan, basically no sump) i will have the ground clearance i need. any help would be appreciated. now, i am by no means a rivit counter, but would like to make it look right as far as the lines and basic shape go.
again, thanks and welcome.
