I would like to find out what size the pro stock chassis tubing is, I think it's .080 ( 2" in 1:1 ) . Am I close or did they change the size since I was racing in 1983 ? John

thats is what i use, but there are some great chassis builders here that may have more incite on this.

For the pro class (and most other high end) cars, I think 1:1 cage material is usually 1-5/8", which works out to .065 in 1:25 scale. .063" is the closest you're going to get to scale, but I used .080 for all of my Fairmont chassis members and most of the roll cage (a little .063" in the cage, too).
