OK Everyone here I am new to the forum and in need of help with a build.
The plan is to build a car for the drag strip.
It is 1/16 scale and it will have a scratch built modern style chassis and a lot more.
So here we go. Anybody know where to get tires and what scale size that will look right. RC tire's don't come in that scale that I know of.
Photo's of complete out of car engines models or 1:1 scale? A lot of this will have to be scratch built,I have been doing that on other builds for some time now.
I have a 69 Chevelle that has 230 piece's to build the parts for that car to get it the way I wanted it.
So scratch building is just time consuming and thats it.
I'll keep looking around on here to find some of this stuff also.
I'll look back in my files and try to find the photo of the car I'm tring to build.
I'm going for a current style chassis with the 64 Mustang body reshaped just a little.
Thanks Earl

What Mustang body style are you using. I had a 65 Mustang 1:1 with a 2" X 3" Frame and the slicks where 13" wide 31" tall on 15' rims and it was just right for the car. Check the part places, some have 1/16 scale .
