Like most modelers I am always collecting containers to keep small parts in. Some for short term such as parts during a build and some for long term on the shelf. Thanks to my newest Grandaughter I have found some great containers that are FREE! Gerber baby food now comes in plastic resealable tubs. There are two sizes both about 2x3 inches with one about 1 1/2 inches tall the other about 2 inches. these are great for sorting parts during the build or storing P-E parts.

I still have some of the glass Gerber baby food jars and use them all the time, hope Gerber don't find out cause they might raise there price. John

very cool. i am a container hoarder!! love garage sales and flea markets. my boys are a little too old for Gerbers, but we do use a lot of lunch meat and there are some out there that come in containers simular to those. thanks for sharing.
another great parts sorter is an old cookie sheet with the sides. you can find them in different sizes, you can dump the parts out and spread them out and then dump them back in the container. these are great cause i NEVER have bench space to spread out parts.
BTW - John, i have a ton of the old baby jars also, they work good. can never get the lids on straight anymore though.

The jars are still being made. I just got a bag of them to replenish my horde.
