Ok, tring to finish another long ago started project and ran into a question. I have a few pictures of the Mr Norm SuperChallenger AA/FC
In one it has what looks like silver interior tin work and on this one has what I think is a 1971 style grille decal
In the 2nd one I have it shows red interior tins and a 1972 style grille.
The 2 cars have an obviously different chassis design.
I was always of the impression he only had the one car, just different grilles as model years changed. Did they have 2 completly different cars ? Or was it same body with 2 different chassis's ?

They were two completely different cars. I believe they both had Romeo Palamedes chassis, but the 71 looked more like a Logghe Stage II, and the 72 had a digger style chassis. This is my rendition of the 72. It's very difficult to find pics of these cars with the body off, so I had to wing it with most of the details. Best of luck with yours! Attachments:

Thanks for the confirmation. I had a feeling they were 2 different cars altogether. ( to many differences )
I'm using an old Soapy Sales Challenger builtup I bought several years back as my basis . So I guess I will have to replicate the 72 - 73 car.
