Wasn't there a requirement back in the day that every drag strip in the USA had to have at least one wheel standing Anglia? LOL! I know everywhere I went there seemed to be not just one, but usually multiples. Great little cars that made PERFECT gasser material.

Our local Anglia was Chevy 6 cylinder powered and went by the name of "Wild Mouse". Really like this build. Gassers rule, too bad they are just memories of a great by-gone era.

Gassers rule, too bad they are just memories of a great by-gone era. Not sure about your specific area, but in most areas across the USA you can easily find gasser clubs that race either at one drag strip or a series of strips. I just found out about an annual event not too far from me. It's like a 4 day event where NOTHING is allowed except gassers. I found out just a little late to make it to this year's event, but I'm at least planning on going next year.
