Looks like it could be a 50s gasser, except one minor detail. G gas didn't show up until '64. All the records and rulebooks I have say the 50s only had classes A through E. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Not being overly picky, just that G/G really caught my eye. Nice build though.

The injection moves it up to 1964 same as the one in my avatar. Originally ran a 4 carb set up that went to injection. I should have added more to the description.

The only reason I happened to notice that is because I've been doing a LOT of Internet research on gasser classes. It's really easy to get confused over what class a car should be due to all the changes they made in gasser classes over the years. It makes even more of a mess when you start throwing in the different "nostalgia gasser" racing of today. Some clubs prefer to use only class designations from back in the day and other clubs prefer to use the most recent and current class designations.
All that aside, your build looks great. And yeah, it looks like it could very well be one from the 50s. Nice!

The one in my avatar ran from 1955 to 1962, my pop replaced it with a 55 Chevy Bel Air in 62 running D/G, I still have the car and last ran on the track in 1979 in C/MP.Spent the last 30 +years in my garage on a trailer. Now it's powered by a 320 GMC with a Hydro-stick and occasionally runs on the street.
