This is one I started many years ago and it has been on and off the bench many many times. I need to finish it this time. I have a problem over the years that I feel like a lot of us have. If I was working on something and couldn't get it perfect I would get frustrated and stop on it. The problem is you never finish anything this way. Let me tell you a little secret that this old man has finally figured out. Nothing in this world is perfect! Finish it and move on! Back to the Mustang. I originally intended 20 years ago to build this as a Gas Rhonda car but that has been done to death so I have decided to build it as a local match race car. It will have a tunnel port 427 because our local boy got a deal on one from one of his round track buddies. local sponsors and a decent paint job. Minor detailing - this will probably be a shelf model. Here's some pictures of what I've got done so far. Updates soon I hope!

Looks like a good start to a great build.

I mocked up this to check it out and also to carry to an NNL show for the primer table this weekend. I do not like the look of the ride height / altitude on this one. I realize that it's probably pretty close to realistic but it just doesn't look good to me. I'm gonna raise the back up just 1/16" or so and drop the front down to the point that it has just a little forward rake.

I'd say the back definitely needs raised a bit.
