I owned a '67 notchback Barracuda with a 340 in it so any time I find one that is special in any way I try and save a photo or video of it. I happened to run across this video a couple days ago. Dear old tubbs turns kinda green any time somebody mentions a Slant Six, then he kinda shimmies and shakes, his face turns red, then smoke comes out his ears. If I could manage to scrape up the money, time, and energy to ever own another '67 notchback, it wouldn't bother me the first bit to have a "tower of power" six in it if it was this one. Pretty danged awesome for what most consider a real lame duck six cylinder power plant.

That's a serious 6 cylinder running 7s. But you do have to admit, the Barracuda is a better looking car. LOL!

If you ever get one, I have a NOS Mopar Mexican Export kit for it. Solid lifter performance cam, hotter ignition, 1:7 rockers, long ram intake with a 450 Holly and cast free flow tri Y headers. All factory for Mexican export. Paul

I have to admit I'd like to have one. Sounds like you've got the performance aspect covered.

I have to admit I'd like to have one. Sounds like you've got the performance aspect covered. I bought it to use on my Feather Duster factory light weight until it was stolen. The Feather Duster Economy Package was to get good MPG to top the Gremlin. 225 tower of power with factory aluminum block and head,V8 low restriction exhaust, aluminum radiator and heater core. An aluminum 3 speed stick, aluminum bumpers and mounts, aluminum hood, trunk, card board head liner, no sound deadening or insulation and pop out windows.Alloy assorted brackets and mounts. Good enough to get 20 town and 30 highway mpg. Was a perfect start for a quick 6 cylinder street car. Some one liked it more than me.

Sounds like a really lightweight car. I never knew that package existed. I owned a '78 Gremlin X with the 258 cube 6 cylinder. I got really good mileage in that thing and for a straight 6 back in the 70s it had plenty of spunk. I bought that thing right off the showroom floor in Killeen, TX. I'm thinking it had something like 4 miles on it. Bright, cherry red with black graphics, premium sound system, and I think F70s all the way around.

I've seen some of the overseas car models and I've sren and read about some of the built up motors the guys come up with. There are some serious muscle cars in Australia and a couple other places. The US didn't corner the market on speed. That's for sure.
