Yeah, what Allen said. It is, for sure, one fine looking hot rod for a cobble job. I sure didn't know you could get a fantastic looking green like that by shooting gold over blue. I have to file that away for future use.
When did Dunn & Reath have a green car? I thought all of their cars were some shade of red or orange.

When did Dunn & Reath have a green car? I thought all of their cars were some shade of red or orange. The first Dunn & Reath Satellite made it's initial track session (at Lions in Long Beach) cloaked in Candy Apple Green ...... having new car issues it kissed the wall and it had to go back to Reath Automotive for repairs ..... Joe Reath blamed some of the problems on the new paint color and since the body had to be repainted anyway, he insisted the color should be changed while the mechanical issues were being addressed ............ since they wanted to get away from their traditional red, the Satelitte was repainted orange with gold trim, and to the best of my recollection the "Mr. Ed" Wills Satellite body remained that color for the rest of its Dunn & Reath life .... the only other Dunn & Reath car to carry green on its body panels was the famed "Rainbow Car" top fueler and it did not perform well either ...... don't know about Jim Dunn, but it seemed Joe Reath didn't like green race cars.

Great historical tidbits. Thanks. I sure didn't recall a green car being campaigned.
It does look great on this build of yours though.

I have a couple of the resin Satellite bodies that have been for sale on eBay over the years. You did a wonderful job with your build. Great color and good history on the real car. Thanks for sharing.
P.S. What material did you use for the windshield?

Thank you, sir! I'll have to order some. I don't think my LHS has it.

That’s really really nice! Love it! I always loved that Cuda version that he raced!
