I think you did an excellent job. Great imagineering! We did a club build of weird Pro Street along those lines, I did a 59 El Dorado Pro Luxury build.

I think it's a really cool idea. I mean, it IS possible that some guy would have decided to turn the family car into a gasser. Right? Maybe?
Great build either way.

Whoa! That was a seriously different hot rod. 6.17:1 gears? Unreal!

Google the Flintstone Flyer Packard. Ah , Dave Koffel and his "Flintstone Flyer" trio ...... the Packard, the Studebaker Lark, and the Barracuda !

Whoa! That was a seriously different hot rod. 6.17:1 gears? Unreal! And the ability to consistently pull the wheels.

LOL. 283 punched up to a 292, 4 speed close ratio, 57 Plymouth rear 6:17 gears ran E/G at 13.33 seconds and 104.04 mph in 1961 and 13.69 seconds at 101.80 mph in 1963. pretty good for a 4600 pound car

Packard's are what my Dad always drove until they quit making them. Best cars I ever rode in. The 56 Executive was his last Packard. A real nice automobile. I always liked the Packard Flintstone Flier and then the Studebaker. One time I was at a swap meet close to Youngstown and the Studebaker was up for sale. That thing was really crude in the welding department for the front end. No engine, just the body and stock. At least I was told that it was the Flintstone Flier II. It was kinda interesting to see though. Thanks for the information on the Packard Paul.

Hi there Allen. I have been in a small slump I think. I went to our model show two weeks ago and last week I went to Lancaster Ohio for a show there. So, I'm kinda beat and restin up a bit. I did build a replica of a 63 Toyota Publica in 1/32nd scale that I owned on Okinawa when I was stationed there. So now, I have the two cars that I owned while over there. I need to get back on the Dodge truck that I started and a few more. The wife and I drove up to Amish country in Ohio yesterday fer my birthday and had a great lunch and drove back home and didn't argue once. LOL. I'll be postin somethin in a couple days fer ya though. Ya think ya can hold on till then? Ha ha.
