Can you show what you did on the frame to match up the shortened wheelbase? Thank you.

Sounds like a great choice. What's not to like about a Hemi MOPAR? I'll be following this one.

Very cool! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one. I remember an old 64 Plymouth like this that a fellow out of Norfolk Va built and raced at tracks in our area. Only I guess because it was cheaper or easier he cut 18 inches out of the body right thru the middle of the doors and then welded back together to alter the wheelbase. Got to build that one someday

Can you show what you did on the frame to match up the shortened wheelbase? Thank you. I moved the rear wheels forward 16mm so to do the chassis is pretty close to what we did on the real ones (only not as easy) On Mopars I draw a line across the front ends of the rear frame rails. Measure 15mm forward and draw a line. When you cut the floor pan my razor saws cut come up to 1/2mm, when I take a straight edge and true up the cuts it generally adds an other 1/2mm so you end up 16mm. I stiffen the rocker bottoms with a full length of .015 plastic and a 1 inch piece of .015 on the inside. I than fit a set of sub frame connectors from the rear rails to the front trans cross member, that adds the last bit of stiffening. Add a chassis width x 16mm extension off the rear of the pan with rectangular chassis stubs for the rear bumper and a wheelie plate if needed. The front K frame is mounted in factory position but the upper and lower control arms are moved forward 4mm or as a rule 1/4 of the distance the rear is moved forward. interior I put in rough position and mark the wheel wells on the tub. I than cut the width and keep cutting both ends to cause the interior the sit down flat. I use .015 plastic to form the trunk bulk head and wheel tubs. I lay the interior sides against the chassis wheel tubs and scribe the shape. Cut it close and final fit with a Dremmel and sanding drum. Last thing I do is take a sanding block with 80 grit on it and sand the inside of the chassis for some extra wiggle room for the interior. I appreciate it. That's much the way I do mine (albeit maybe less technical). My next one will be the 15" forward rear and 10" forward fronts. Again, thanks!

That's some serious work on a set of headers! Great job.
