That's a radically shortened wheelbase. How far was it moved? What is that in 1:1 scale?

About 21". Laugh all you want but it was a very real car, owned and driven by Ron Rinauro in Northern California, mostly at Fremont Dragway. The car was a real crowd pleaser and ran in the mid-upper 8's consistently. It went through a number of changes so I kind of picked one to fashion my build after.

Wow! Just looking at your build, I figured about 2 feet in my head. It's amazing the car didn't spend all it's time locked into a true moon shot. Weight transfer shouldn't have been a problem for it.
Great looking build, by the way. Very nicely done.

Seeing pictures from Fremont Drag strip took me home again. I was a frequent visitor there, and ran my car a few times. There is a story about what happened on the way to Fremont that is for another time. I never saw Blown Hell or I'm sure I would have remembered it. I wish he had referenced a date for this photo.
