OK, I've begun moving threads from the W.I.P. board to their respective class boards. If any of your threads haven't been moved, would you please send me a PM with info on what board your build thread should be moved to? Thanks.
I will be combining a few boards to further clean up the forum. What do you guys think about combining "Top Fuel" and "Dragsters" into one board titled, "Top Fuel & Other Dragsters"?
We have had a few really nice non-racing factory stock builds posted recently. Do you think we need a board for factory stock vehicles that are not drag cars? If so, any suggestions for the title of that board?
Feel free to post up any replies here or you can send me a PM. Either way is fine. Thanks!

There is a board for Muscle Cars, Day 2 cars and Factory Stock now, why not just put them there? To me that means Showroom, Muscle Cars, Day 2 owned cars, Bone Stock Factory Cars, Grannys Valiant, Your Girlfriends VW or Dad's Buick Electra. As for just me, Dragsters and Top Fuel go hand in hand. To me it does not matter if it is a inline six, flat motor, sbc or fire breathing Hemi, if it is on a "Rail" chassis, front or rear engine, it is a Dragster and thats where it should be.
Dont sweat the stickers. Now this is just a thought and nothing more. I am on a Go Kart Forum and one of the Admins. had some stickers printed of the logo----DIY Go Karts Forum. If you send him a SASE and $1 he mails you back an official sticker. $5 and a SASE gets you five of them. Now I have no idea how these modelers would take to that sort of deal------a QuarterMilers Model Forum sticker, but they move a few to the Kart crowd. I even have one on a fire breathing Briggs! LMAO! That is just a thought, nothing more.

Two suggestions for titles: Rail Dragsters - includes all rails T/F, alcohol, econorail, anything with an extended rail chassis. As far as the really nice factory stock or anything other than a drag car how about "Anything Other than a Drag Car"? Just a feeble old mind dribbling on the keyboard.

I should probably start a new thread for this, but for now I'll just stick it on the end of this thread.
So you guys would be that interested in stickers that have the name of our forum and the altered that is in our logo? I'm not committing to anything at this point, but I won't rule anything out either. I haven't done anything like that in a while, but I should be able to get back in the groove fairly easily. How many of you guys would be interested in QuarterMilers stickers for a buck each?

Steve, the sticker thing is no big deal, it was just a thought to play with at some point. I would think right now you have enough on your plate to deal with without worrying about a bunch of stickers. Maybe I shouldn't have even mentioned that yet. Just deal with forum tasks and don't get all clogged up with other ideas, it might make your brain blow up. Worry about the forum right now and stickers later when the forum is kicking butt.

I agree with George. Now is not the time to be thinking of stickers. Let's get the forum going.

I don’t really care about stickers. They’re too big for the models I build.

I kind of hate to tell you guys this, but there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hades that I was going to start in on creating stickers right now. And that's for the same reasons you guys mentioned. I do have too much other stuff to get done on the forum. I'm also way behind on contacting businesses for advertising on the site. No, not paid advertising, just posting a thread on the "Vendors & Cottage Industries" board. I'd like to get several, but I'll settle for a few, businesses involved with our forum. That's the best way there is to get news and updates on the business side of the hobby - straight from the horse's mouth. I was only asking about the interest in stickers so I'd know if making them was something I needed to have on my down the road, to do list. I kind of like having a list of things to do in the back of my mind all the time. So all you guys can still give me your thumbs up or thumbs down on forum stickers. Just don't expect to see one any time soon.
