Here is an older one never posted here. A number of years ago, while living in Oregon, I made a trade for a built model from Jeff Dykes (of Nitro Model) at a model contest. The model was a nicely detailed build of the Scott Geoffrion Mopar Daytona built by the late Chuck Naylor. He built it back in the early 90's and it was a multiple award winner back then. That day that I acquired the model I was carrying it back to my table when I dropped it and the model shattered into a multitude of pieces. Needless to say I was slightly miffed at what I had done.
Not being able to repair the damage I went about rebuilding the entire model and updating it a few years to the black and white rainbow striped paint scheme that both Geoffrion and Alderman ran. This is the result of that rebuild.
