I wanted to go off of the beaten path and do something a little different. For my next couple of builds I’ve got stuff that is fairly normal which is 1.) a 59 El Camino build for a friend of my sons that is more of a motivational build to possibly get him into the hobby and then 2.) a 1970 Charger R/T build for a long time friend of mine that I knew as a kid and I idolized his car. Then after that……………..I thought I’d do something totally different and wild. So…………I picked this up:
These kits build up pretty nicely and I’m eyeballing another set of aluminum Alumastar wheels for it to replace those nasty kit wheels.

Yea, I thought the kit wheel's were crummy too. I cannibalized my kit for some of the cooler part's. So let me know if you need any spare's , I still have "Most" of the kit.

I'm still trying to figure out what powerplant I want in it. I have a Ross Gibson "Rat Trap" Big Block Chevy Resin Engine that I may use for this one.

I'll be sitting in the chair in the corner ..... observing . BTW: The kit's Velocity Stack's leave a LOT to be desired. I recommend replacing them . Or at least Drilling them out.

I’m going to get the aluminum stacks because I’m already familiar with those kind of stacks from their “Der Beetle Bus” kit.

I need to post a completed thread for this one even though it's a "silly build".
