Looking forward to updates on this one. Would love to see some pictures of the surgery scars for that top-chop, where you made the cuts and how it was pieced back together.

Looking forward to updates on this one. Would love to see some pictures of the surgery scars for that top-chop, where you made the cuts and how it was pieced back together. The chop was probably the easiest I've ever done and this from the lunatic who chopped a 54 Hudson, a 69 Charger, an Austin Gasser and a Revell 50 Mercury Wagon. 2.5 mm out of the front posts cut across the roof about the middle of the doors and 2.5 mm to nothing to the end of the radius on the rear. Push down and glue the rear roof section and let sit for at least 12 hours. Sand the windshield post just enough to make the front section sit level and line up the main cuts. Done this way there is no filler piece for the top and the rear window area is more flowing with out a bump in the top. There are resin chopped bodies but they all have a slight bump to the rear of the roof and the rear window angle is to steep in my opinion. Hosted on FotkiYou can see the cut on the inside of the roof fit issues. Hosted on Fotki
